Center for Working Families
Moving from Crisis to Assets
Center for Working Families (CWF) members will increase assets; develop their education; and gain employment or better employment. The program uses a membership based model. Applicants must commit to a long-term relationship with the Center. Services provided include: workshops, one-to-one coaching and group activities in the areas of financial literacy and responsibility, income support resources and education and training opportunities.
EMCC is ensuring that heads of households have the skills and resources they need to move from crisis to stabilization to asset development. Families will move through initial services and programs that meet their basic needs, and then leverage skills, abilities, and their desire for a better financial situation by working through a system of level-based programming.
