Saturday, October 21 was a great day for our 5th annual Goelzer Investment Management MONOPOLY Tournament. The event was contested by 52 players from ten states for four 75-minute rounds. We had plenty of doughnuts and coffee (from Ascend Coffee), a great lunch from Smokin’ Barrel BBQ. The Edna Martin Christian Center (EMCC) has received a grant of $5 million as part of Lilly Endowment Inc.’s commitment to helping human service organizations that strive to improve the lives of low-income individuals and families and strengthen their communities in Indianapolis and throughout the state. Youth Meet 2017: Building A Youth Filled Community
Save the date! The Edna Martin Christian Center is pleased to host the first Youth Meet on May 6th, 2017. 150 teens and their youth leaders will meet the Saturday before the American Baptist Church of Greater Indianapolis annual gathering to build relationships through worship, fellowship and community at the Leadership and Legacy Campus on Ralston Avenue. We look forward to seeing the youth grow and make an impact on our community as the hands and feet of Christ!
